Your Mission

The Energy Hub

  • We hope our platform will bridge the gap between old and new energy systems, making it modular, scalable, and easier for people to invest in solar panels, batteries, and EV chargers. This is the beginning of a more digitised energy system, built for the 21st century

What needs to get done?

  • Create testing frameworks to validate performance and reliability. Stress-test components, troubleshoot issues, and make sure everything holds up in the real world.

  • Ensure seamless integration of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, CAN, 4G/cellular, and Ethernet modules. Solve timing and noise challenges to ensure reliable communication across the entire system.

  • Contribute in creating efficient and reliable systems like DC-DC converters and AC/DC inverters. Your PCBs must be optimized for signal integrity, thermal management, and manufacturability.

  • Build electronics ready for mass production. You’ll focus on balancing performance and cost, working with manufacturers to make sure designs are scalable and efficient.

  • Build systems that meet global safety and regulatory standards. Integrate overvoltage protection, EMI shielding, and thermal management into every design.

... but let's not forget that no role is static ...

  • We're not just looking for someone to get things done, we’re looking for someone who thrives on tough challenges, embraces advanced problems, and is excited to make a lasting impact by turning those challenges into opportunities

Why you should consider this role

  • You’ll be working closely with passionate people who are just as ambitious as you are. This is a startup environment where your ideas and expertise will be valued and where you can grow as much as the product you’re building.

  • You're not stepping into a legacy system full of band-aid fixes - you’re creating something entirely new. Every circuit, every board, every module will have your fingerprints on it. This is your chance to leave a mark and shape a product from the first blueprint to production.

  • This isn't a role where you'll just tweak existing designs. You'll tackle some of the toughest challenges in electronics, like optimizing for energy efficiency, ensuring seamless communication, and meeting rigorous safety standards. And the systems you design will directly impact one of the world’s biggest challenges - how we manage and optimize energy.

  • We’re all about testing new ideas and pushing boundaries. Not everything will work out, but we believe in taking calculated risks to get to the best solutions. If you enjoy experimenting, learning from failures, and refining your ideas quickly, you’ll love the freedom you’ll have here.

Who we think is the right match

  • You’ll need solid experience in designing electronics for mass production, compliance testing and optimizing for cost without compromising quality. Designing electronics for DC/DC converters, AC/DC inverters, and wired and wireless communication will be a big part of your role, along with solving challenges like thermal management, compliance, EMI, cost optimalization and reliability.

  • We’re looking for someone skilled in designing high-density, multi-layer PCBs. You should be proficient with tools like Altium to create schematics and layouts that prioritize signal integrity, grounding strategies, and thermal management. An understanding of how to design for manufacturability is crucial.

  • Have you validated electronics systems and solved issues using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or multimeters? If you take a methodical approach to finding and fixing problems, you have the skills we need.

  • If you seek comfort or routine, then Starflow is not the place for you. But if you are driven by passion and the desire to shape something greater than yourself, then we might be the perfect fit.

Life @ Starflow

  • We take calculated risks, push boundaries and meet challenges head on. That's why we need people who aren't afraid to challenge the status quo and think different. You'll be encouraged to think outside the box, but also to take ownership of your work and be accountable for both successes and failures.

  • We believe that no one is more important than the team, and that the best solutions come from different perspectives, feedback, and open communication. There's no room for ego here - only a shared passion for building something extraordinary.

  • We cherish freedom and autonomi, but we also understand that freedom goes hand in hand with responsibility and consequences. We know when to lead and make decisions independently, and when to follow guidance and instructions from others.

  • Being part of Starflow from the start means navigating limited resources, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines. It’s demanding, unpredictable, and chaotic - but that’s also what makes it exciting. We need resilient people who can balance long-term vision with the immediate needs of the business, staying adaptable and focused as we push forward.
